As your counsellor my aim is to provide a safe, confidential and empathic space where you can explore any aspect of your life you wish to bring to counselling.
I am a fully qualified “pluralistic” counsellor. This means I will tailor my approach to best suit your needs by drawing upon techniques from multiple disciplines of counselling. These include Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, and more. In action, this would mean checking in every few sessions to see what is working for you, whether you would like to shift focus and which interventions you have found most helpful.
My particular areas of interest include neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, relationships, BDSM and non-monogamy.
I attend regular supervision in accordance with the BACP’s “Ethical Framework” and I am appropriately insured.
